Privacy Policy

1. WHO OPERATES THE APP

This Privacy Policy describes how the Spotless Ultraclean Android application made available by SPOTLESS ULTRACLEAN LTD handles information. You may contact the company about this policy at dev@spotlessultraclean.site. This policy addresses the local-only functionality implemented in app version 1.0.1.

2. WHAT INFORMATION YOU MAY PROVIDE

When you prepare a vehicle-care request in the app, you can enter or select:

• A car-care service category.
• Vehicle type (such as Sedan/Coupe, SUV/Crossover, Truck or Van).
• One-time or recurring-interest preference.
• Preferred date and time of day.
• Full name and phone number, required to complete a local request record.
• Email address, if you choose to provide one.
• Special notes, if you choose to provide them.

The app also stores service identifiers for favourites, and it generates a local record identifier and creation timestamp for completed request records. These details are used solely to display your saved plans and app preferences on your device. They are not collected by the company through the app.

3. WHERE YOUR INFORMATION IS STORED

Saved requests, saved drafts and favourites are held in Android application-private SharedPreferences on your device. Text entered into an unfinished form is held in app memory until you save or complete the request, subject to Android's normal activity-state handling. The app does not require an account or login. It does not automatically upload or sync these details. Android backup is disabled in this app's manifest for this version.

4. HOW INFORMATION IS USED

The app uses the information you choose to enter to create local care-request plans, resume drafts, display request history and saved favourites, and allow you to manage or delete them. A prepared request does not book an appointment, confirm availability, send an order, or take a payment.

5. SHARING, NETWORK ACCESS AND THIRD PARTIES

This version has no booking backend, cloud database, advertising SDK, analytics SDK or payment processor and does not request the Android INTERNET permission. The app does not automatically transmit the personal details entered in the request form to SPOTLESS ULTRACLEAN LTD or a third party.

Selecting the Contact Us email action opens your own email application using a mailto link to dev@spotlessultraclean.site. That action is initiated by you. Any email you then compose or send is managed by your email application/provider and can reach the recipient company; their processing of the email falls outside the app's local request-record storage. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in support messages.

6. DEVICE PERMISSIONS AND CONTENT

This version does not request camera, microphone, precise or approximate location, contact-list, photo-library, or internet permissions. The app's car-care imagery is bundled within the installation and does not require photo uploads. There is no in-app account or payment-card collection.

7. RETENTION AND DELETION

On-device request records, drafts and favourites remain until you choose to remove them, clear the app's private storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. You can delete an individual saved request in My Requests, discard a saved draft, and use Settings & data to clear all stored requests, drafts and favourites. The app does not maintain a remote copy of those records and cannot recover them after local deletion.

If you have separately emailed the company, you can contact dev@spotlessultraclean.site to enquire about those messages or request an appropriate response to a data-rights request. Deleting app-local data does not automatically delete an email sent through a separate email provider.

8. SECURITY

Information saved by the app is stored in Android app-private storage and is not transmitted by the application. The app relies on Android's operating-system protections and the security of your device; it does not claim to provide separately encrypted local storage. You should protect your device with an appropriate screen lock. No storage or system is guaranteed to be completely risk-free.

9. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on applicable law, including UK data-protection requirements, you may have rights to request information, correction or deletion regarding personal data held by the company. Because the app's saved drafts and requests stay on your own device, you can view and erase them using the controls described above. For questions regarding information provided separately through email, contact dev@spotlessultraclean.site. You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office where applicable.

10. CHILDREN

This vehicle-care planning app is not specifically directed to children and does not include an age-verification or children's account flow.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy if the app changes or if data handling changes. Any future addition of server-side booking, payments, analytics, advertising, cloud sync, or other features involving transmission of information would require a corresponding privacy-policy and Google Play Data safety review. The effective date at the top identifies this version of the policy.
